Event Summary
SEPTEMBER is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month...

The HEALING the HURT Forum series will take place each month providing the community with vital information in identifying trauma. Once we identify the trauma, the root of the pain and the hurt; we can start the process of healing.

The CDC recently reported that nearly 50,000 Americans took their lives via suicide in 2022. 2022 saw a 2.6% increase over suicide deaths in 2021 - following two straight years of decline in suicide deaths. "Mental health has become the defining public health and societal challenge of our time"
