What is the attire?
Attire is Sunday’s Best—a respectful and polished look.
What can I expect from the ceremony?
The memorial will be a celebration of life, featuring programming, tributes, and reflections from Heath’s loved ones and the community. There will be no viewing.
Can I bring my plus one?
Due to limited capacity, plus ones are allowed, if necessary. If you would like to bring a loved one to support you, please indicate their first/last name in your RSVP.
Are children allowed?
Accommodations for children are only available for family members.
What is the Knowledge Exchange?
To honor Heath’s passion for knowledge-sharing, we ask guests to bring a book—one that has inspired or shaped them—to participate in a community book swap.
Can I send flowers or gifts?
In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to visit Heath’s memorial page to identify the best way to extend your support to the family.
Is this invitation transferable?
No, this invitation is non-transferable. Only invited guests will be admitted to the private memorial. Please do not share or forward this invitation but encourage those interested to attend the public memorial and exhibition.
What is the difference between the private memorial and the public gathering?
The private memorial tribute is an invitation-only gathering that is designated for the family and a limited group of close friends. This service will be a formal celebration of Heath’s life. RSVP is required to attend this service. It is from 1PM - 4PM CST.
The public tribute is a self-guided experience, allowing the broader community to pay their respects, reflect, and honor Heath’s legacy in their own way. This portion is open to the public. It is from 5:30PM - 7:30PM.
