Hoodie Season Vol VII

Hoodie Season Vol. VII will take place on Saturday, November 4 in Washington, D.C. Proceeds will benefit The Hustler's Guild 501(c)(3), and gently used Hoodies will be collected for donation to DC Students in partnership with DOLLS and Dreams 501(c)(3).

It's the last Barbecue of the Year: Hoodie Season Vol. VII is returning this Fall! If you made it to Vol. VI in 2022, you know what to expect! If you've never been, this is the family reunion that didn't know you needed in your life.

Tell your TRIBE to meet you at Hoodie Season Volume Seven, on Saturday, November 4, 2023! HOODIES are still the MANDATORY DRESS CODE for admission of all guests! This Black led and Black organized event is moving with the uniform purpose to preserve Black culture, to expand our reach for mass liberation, and to invest in the generation following in our footsteps! Funds raised will benefit two Black Led non-profit organizations: The Hustler's Guild and D.O.L.L.S. and Dreams.

Wear a hoodie and bring a hoodie to give back! And as always, this event is B.Y.O.B. Lawn Chairs are also welcomed.

We can't wait to link back up with our long lost cousins. Music will be provided by DJ Clottey and DJ Bundysworld. Security enforced, Black owned vendors, Hookah, and the fan favorite fire pits to keep you warm! It wouldn't be a barbecue without Spades! The table is open for competition! For those that purchase in advance (Early Bird and General Admission), a meal is included in your ticket purchase. The cut off time to make sure dinner is included in your admission is Thursday, November at 6:00 pm. The Washington, D.C. event location will be released on instagram 36 hours before the BBQ.

This year Hoodie Season will also include a Black Author's panel and book signing, the Arguing Brothers Podcast recording live onsite, and a tiny desk style local artist showcase.

There is also a few free events. On Friday night, Nov. 3, we are partnering with the Southern diplomats and Shanklin Hall in NW for a happy hour to kick the clothing drive off early. On Saturday afternoon, a nature hike by We Be Walkin' and a Yoga cool down session will lead into the beginning of Hoodie Season. Both are free, but please RSVP. The caterers have graciously extended the deadline: to ensure dinner is included in your admission ticket, you must purchase by Friday, November 3 at 12 noon for us to send the meals over. For those that buy late after this time, food will be available for purchase on site for an additional fee.
