All ages welcome. Food? Music? We got you.
Celebrate the launch of the indie video game DA PAPER BOY with Asheville's first-ever Indie Game Playground hosted by 3D Dojo Studios, Asheville's first Black-owned game studio!
More than just showcasing our game, we are sharing the space with other indie developers to showcase the richness of indie games. We want to highlight the need for youth to have shared space doing things they love (playing games) while supporting independent creators!
The space will feature:
3D Dojo Studios' debut video game, DA PAPER BOY, follows three teen pranksters through a richly detailed suburb on a modern-day paper delivery route. In this leaderboard survival game players are tasked with dodging obstacles, busting stunts, and evading O.G. Granny and The Neighborhood Watch while raking up as many points as possible. Equipped with a gauntlet-style mail launcher, players navigate through the neighborhood on high speed bicycles, breaking windows, damaging houses, and hopefully also landing some papers in mailboxes before time runs out.
Let's have some good food, music, and fun celebrating the launch of Asheville's first Black-owned indie video game.
