LongJump and TechNexus invite female and non-binary founders/startup C-suite members and investors to learn and play poker in celebration of International Women's Month! We're bringing in instructors from Poker Power for an intimate poker workshop to teach women/non-binary individuals critical leadership skills, so they can turn any situation into their next big win. Poker is used to enhance confidence, emotional intelligence, and assertiveness while sharpening strategic thinking and decision-making skills that translate to all areas of life, from classrooms to boardrooms. Poker Power's poker lessons give you real-world examples of how poker skills apply to everyday situations and give you plenty of opportunities to practice.
No poker experience is required to start and we won't be gambling for real money. Poker Power offers a unique approach to learning to play poker, making connections between poker skills and the skills that benefit women+ at work, at school, and at play. For this event, we welcome women/non-binary individuals who are founders or investors, with any level of poker experience.
