Our 6th-8th grade students need your support and encouragement! Join us for the 2024 Kellogg Elementary School Go Fish Village Business Plan Competition as they compete and showcase their innovative business ideas in an exciting pitch competition.
This event marks the culmination of an 8-week entrepreneurship course where students explored:
- Business Ideation
- Defining Products/Services
- Feasibility Analysis
- Sales Strategies
- Startup vs. Fixed Costs
- Pricing Strategies
- Revenue and Profit Projections
- Understanding Customer Demographics
- Perfecting Elevator Pitches
- Marketing (The 5 Ps)
- Creating a Winning Business Plan
Event Highlights:
- 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Student-preneur Business Plan Expo - Students will present their business ideas in a science-fair-style expo. Judges will circulate the gym, asking questions and engaging with students. Each student will deliver a polished elevator pitch and share insights about their business plans.
- 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Business Plan Pitch Presentations - Students will take the stage to deliver PowerPoint-style presentations to the audience. Judges and audience members will ask questions, provide feedback, and vote to help determine the winners. Cash prizes and awards will be given to the top-performing students.
- Graduation Ceremony: The evening will conclude with a graduation ceremony, where all participants will receive certificates celebrating their accomplishments. This event is open to parents, teachers, community leaders, classmates, and friends. Come celebrate and support our young entrepreneurs as they showcase their creativity, hard work, and business acumen. Prizes will be awarded, and the event will be filmed and shared on social media, highlighting the talents of these future business leaders.
