YOU'RE INVITED!!!

Parents! Business Owners! Community Leaders! Friends!

Our students need your support and encouragement! Please join us at the 2024 Kellogg Elementary School Go Fish Village Business Plan Competion in which 6th - 8th grade Kellogg Elementry Students will  compete in a business plan competion. This competiton is the colmenation of a 16 week course in which students learned the fundamentals of entrepreneurship.

urship class will participate in the "Student-preneur Business Plan Expo" from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. During the expo, students will showcase their business plans and deliver elevator pitches to judges circulating throughout the gym, similar to a science fair. Judges will ask questions, and students will present their business ideas in-depth. Following the expo, the top three businesses will advance to a final competition round. Parents, teachers, community leaders, classmates, and friends are invited and encouraged to attend, as the event will feature audience voting in addition to feedback from local business leaders. Cash and prizes will be awarded to the winners, and the entire event will be filmed.

From 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., we will hold the Business Plan Competition/Graduation; selected students will present their business ideas in- depth using PowerPoint presentations. Judges will ask questions, and the students will receive feedback, not only from business leaders but also from our audience members, as we will have live audience voting to help decide the winners! The event will culminate in a graduation ceremony in which all students will receive certificates. This event is open to all parents, teachers, community leaders, classmates, and friends. We encourage you to join us in celebrating and supporting the achievements of our young entrepreneurs.
