Event Summary
NSBE Legends is a professional development seminar series presented by the NSBE Chicago Professionals chapter. It features some of the most dynamic and innovative engineers in the world today. They speak on topics that drive industry, create policy and save communities. These Legends include presidents and vice presidents of industry, founders and co-founders of organizations, and other dynamic leaders in our community.
Each Legend is a game changer in their field and has successfully carried out NSBE’s mission of excelling academically, succeeding professionally and positively impacting the community. NSBE Legends that precede Maj. Gen. Johnson include NSBE Founders Edward Coleman and George Smith; Ernst and Young Partner, Regenia Sanders; Dr. Aprille Ericsson, NASA's STAR Mission Control Director; Virginia Booth-Womack, Minority Engineering Director at Purdue University; and Candice Smith, Director of Engineering Strategy & Operations at The Boeing Company.
Event Details
It is with great honor to announce our (@chicagoNSBE) #NSBELegends awardee for Fall 2022: Major General Ronald L. Johnson, Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering and Faculty Leadership Fellow, Faculty Diversity Fellow, H. Milton Stewart School at the Georgia Institute of Technology ; Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (Georgia). Major General Johnson will share a self-produced presentation called “L.E.A.D.ing”.
