Event Summary
We, the congregation of First AME Church of Los Angeles wish to invite you to join us in the celebration
of a milestone reached by our current pastor, Rev. “J” Edgar Boyd who is retiring in October of 2023
after 52 years of service to God and the AME Church. We want to express our appreciation and love for all of the work that he has done in the AME
Connection and FAME Los Angeles to sustain the mission of our church in service not just within the walls but beyond the walls into the community.
