The Queer Fam Pride Jam is making a joyful return after its history-making event in 2023, this year opening the Chicago House Music Festival in the iconic Millennium Park for house music’s 40th anniversary celebration. Produced by legendary queer dance party Slo ‘Mo & South Loop children’s boutique Kido, the Pride Jam celebrates LGBTQ+ families, kids and allies with all-ages activities like dance lessons, DJ sets, performances and more in the North Pavilion tent from 10am-1pm. Pack your snacks and sunscreen for an immersive morning of unforgettable family focused events and activations. From performances from some of Chicago's best DJ's and drag personalities, to a crafting station, to a 'crawling corner' for our youngest guests, the day will be rich with entertainment and queer family joy.
Located in the North Promenade tent in Millenium Park, we'll kick off at 10 am with a sing-a-long and will continue until 1 p with a variety of family-focused programming. We're still working on our line-up, but keep an eye out for an email announcement of the full scope of programming in late April. This event is free and available to all.
