Sam Thousand & The Soul Vortex set stages on fire for years, with uplifting live shows that couldn't be missed. Riding a tidal wave of momentum in the summer of 2019, Sam Thousand primed the band to record a live album to capture the true essence of their show. On the night of Dec 12, 2019 the band hosted a sold-out event, and performed and recorded their live album while premiering 6 new songs. The lineup was stellar, the moon was full, and the energy was electric.
Now in 2023, their album LIVE AT THE PROMONTORY was released Aug 15th on streaming platforms, and on Oct 4th you are invited to help celebrate their vinyl release at Dorian's, a boutique record store and swanky speakeasy in the Wicker Park neighborhood. Experience an intimate set and Q&A with Sam Thousand & The Soul Vortex, accompanied with a fully curated tasting menu by Chef Erika & Island Tings.
One signed vinyl record is included in your purchase along with exclusive access to the band's documentary THE FINAL PUSH, which tells first-person accounts of events leading up to the live recording at The Promontory (Dec'19).
