Presented by the FAVOR, Soul Food Truck Fest (#SFTF) will season up the state's traditional festival lineup with 10+ Texas African-American-owned food trucks serving up savory, finger-licking dishes for families. 


The fest will happen on Saturday,  June 18, 2022, from 11 a.m. - to 7 p.m. on the campus at Huston-Tillotson University at 900 Chicon St. in Austin. In addition to the delicious food, there will be entertainment and artisan retail vendors selling arts, crafts, sweets, and more. 

Headlining Soul Food Truck Fest - it's the Grammy nominated The Ton3s! Formerly known as The Hamiltones, they are the official backing singers for acclaimed vocalist Anthony Hamilton and have also backed Fantasia Barrino, Leela James, Jodeci, and K-Ci & JoJo.

Be sure to grab tickets and bring the whole squad out on Saturday, June 18th from 11a - 7pm!


The Festival is excited to announce that Dr. Colette Pierce Burnette will be serving as one of the official ambassadors for the fest, along with District 1 Council Member Natasha Harper Madison.


Texas, voted a top state for Black entrepreneurs, has a plethora of delicious food truck gems that specialize in soul, Cajun, Southern comfort, BBQ, and secret seasonings from the minds of talented Black chefs. Soul Food Truck Fest will give Texans the chance to enjoy dishes they may not have known were being served up by the soul food truck community every day.
