This FREE early childhood music program introduces toddlers and preschoolers to the magic of sound and play through the Earth, Wind & Fire songbook.
Led by rotating teaching artists Shanta Nurullah, Zahra Baker, Angel Bat Dawid, and Julian Otis, Fireflies is a place for families to gather on Saturday mornings for music, fun, and community. Join us every Saturday at 11 AM from February 8th until April 12th, 2025 at the Arts Incubator!
All families are welcome! We also offer West Side Fireflies for our west side families!
Music Moves Chicago is Old Town School of Folk Music's place-based, youth-focused, intergenerational initiative that aims to inspire, restore, and transform communities by providing access to high quality arts education, concerts, and workforce readiness through partnerships with community organizations, schools, and other institutions located in South and West side neighborhoods.
