Hip-Prov is a game show where comics and improvisers compete in short-form improv games and hip-hop challenges. The show has played in clubs and theaters all over, including the Traverse City Comedy Festival and Toledo Funny Bone. Audience members join in the fun by providing suggestions, winning prizes and participating in a jam at the end of the show. The cast is joined by Detroit’s beatboxer extraordinaire Stevie Soul. The show is judged by national comedian and celebrity impressionist Michael McDaniel.
