The Other Grammys is a cultural event that honors and celebrates African American educators and their contributions to the field of education. Come and immerse yourself in African American culture, by experiencing the soul , journey ,triumphs resilience and the beauty of African American people through narratives, African drum infused music, live band, DJ, African dancers, spoken word performances, and more.
**Tickets are $100.00 dollars and will include Brunch (vegan options available), Beer/Wine/Mimosa Bar between the hours of 1pm-2:00pm and brunch 1pm-2:30pm. Show starts at 3:00pm and will end at 4:30pm.**
The event will celebrate the beauty and complexity of African American culture and African American male educators. The Other Grammys, LLC is partnering with North Lawndale and Instituto Health Sciences Career Academy. Ticket sales will fund the cost of mentorship weekend experiences with Black and Brown male students. The Other Grammys Awards will be given to Black educators from the Chicagoland community.
The show's focus is to showcase the beauty and complexity of African American culture and African American male educators.
