The Westside Community Que is more than just a gathering—it’s a movement to educate and empower crime survivors and advocacy organizations about victim compensation programs. This event will bring together survivors, community leaders, service providers, and policy advocates to ensure that those affected by crime receive the support they deserve.
Our Purpose:
Increase Awareness about victim compensation programs among crime victims and advocacy organizations.
Educate individuals on eligibility criteria, application processes, and available resources.
Empower crime survivors to navigate victim compensation programs and access financial assistance.
Foster Collaboration between victim service providers, community organizations, and government agencies to streamline support for survivors.
Objectives:
✅ Empower community-based organizations to lead local outreach, education, and advocacy efforts around victim compensation.
✅ Expand & Diversify campaign messaging to ensure that all survivors—especially those in underserved communities—have access to accurate information and resources.
✅ Strengthen Partnerships between grassroots organizations, victim service providers, and policy advocates to create a sustainable impact.
