This annual youth leadership summit is designed to engage students in meaningful learning experiences focused on key areas of leadership.
Emerging 100 Houston proudly presents Trailblazer: Youth Leadership Summit 2024. Trailblazer is an annual event focused on developing and empowering student leaders to be the change makers of tomorrow. This event is an engaging and interactive experience that will equip all Houston area high school male and female students with the necessary skills to lead, inspire others, and live fulfilling lives.
Leading with emotional intelligence will be our main summit focus. This aims to enhance self-awareness, management, social awareness, and relationship management strategies which are crucial for effective leadership and personal development. Through this focus, the students will learn how to manage their emotions, build strong relationships, and lead with strength and discipline.
Student should arrive by 9:30a for registration.
Keynote Speakers:
Jeremy Craft, Chief Operating Officer of Black Book Houston, Youth Advocate and Mentor is a native of Houston, Texas. Jeremy has a rich background in leadership development and community service with a strong focus in providing social services to at-risk young men. Jeremy is member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
Patrick Guide is a dynamic and inspiring motivational keynote speaker, known for his powerful messages that ignite positive change and transformation in the lives of his audiences. He is a proud native of Houston, a Marine Corps veteran, engineer, and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Currently, Patrick is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of Texas McCombs School of Business, with an emphasis on leadership. Patrick empowers individuals and organizations to embrace adversity as a catalyst for personal and collective growth.
