About "Work from Summertime Chi"
As we navigate the evolving landscape of remote work, it's evident that Chicago's downtown businesses have faced significant challenges. To revitalize our vibrant cityscape and boost economic activity, P33, World Business Chicago and Choose Chicago are collaborating on an exciting new initiative.
We're thrilled to announce the launch of a pilot summer campaign called “Work from Summertime Chi” running from May 28 to August 31, aimed at bringing the local remote workforce back downtown and into surrounding neighborhoods. Our mission is to create a dynamic environment that fosters productivity and inspiration while supporting our city's cultural richness.
At the heart of this campaign are unique co-working spaces hosted by anyone from cultural institutions, iconic spots in the city, or a building with a great view. These spaces will serve as hubs for creativity, collaboration, and connection, inviting individuals to "Work from Summertime Chi." Individuals will be able to find participating locations on a public calendar at https://gotechchicago.com/wfchi/.
Additionally, our partners will host evening events and activities, infusing downtown with energy and vitality after work hours. By joining us, you'll not only contribute to the campaign's success but also position yourself as a leader in supporting Chicago's economic revival. We are excited to announce a few of our first participants: Navy Pier, Museum of Contemporary Art and the Chicago Cultural Center!
