Poetry empowered kweisi, the poet to write, meet and forgive his younger brother, Lemont's killers. Lemont sacrificed his life to save his friend, Kim's life. Poerty saved kweisi's life. Through poetry as it connects him and his son. kweisi is seeking to be a better father to his son despite being in Chicago. kweisi's son's poetry helps him process and deal with his life challenges, adversities and to express good times.
